We all know about the benefits that come from trees. More oxygen for us, keeps the global temperature under control, etc. In short, we can come to a conclusion that trees develop the overall ecosystem and we, humans are one of the most important habitants of this very ecosystem. Our very existence is woven with this ecosystem. Yet, we destroy our very own existence every day. There is a very famous proverb that says, "We, the people, for the people." And at Helpful Hands Foundation (R), we do solemnly follow this saying; but we also have another proverb that's very much popular amongst us. It goes like this: "We, the people, for the planet".

In the early 1900's, it was Sir Jagdish Chandra Bose, who proved that plants breathe just like us and live just like us. With every sapling we plant, we are gifting a new life to Mother Nature, a life that will one day grow to contribute to our ecosystem in the most positive way.

Our vision and belief that trees play an equally important role in building a good society is shared by many researchers. Several studies prove that greenery has a positive effect on our overall well being and also leads to healthier communities. It contributes to cleaner water, air and helps preserving our natural resources to name a few.
